The animals are grouped according to their geographic territory and live peacefully together. The zone around the zoo is very spacious thus the visitors should be prepared for some walking. Visiting this place is among the best outdoor activities that you can enjoy in the Miami area. It is an especially fun place for the children, who can enjoy the playground, the carousel and the petting zoo.

Another wonderful Miami experience would be to visit the local Seaquarium, which is both entertaining and educational. It features an outdoor marine section that presents killer whales, dolphins and other huge sea creatures. At the Seaquarium could be also seen seals and sea turtles, as well as sea lions, etc. The place also presents a show of trained dolphins, a show of a killer whale and feeding of the sea creatures.

The fourth important thing to do when in Miami includes a visit to the Everglades National Park. It features a large territory of swamps, sun-tropical jungle and interesting greenery. This is quite an unusual public park, which is placed at the southern end of Florida and is home to many endangered species like the Florida Panther, the American Crocodile, etc. The visitors of the Everglades National Park can walk, go camping, etc.
