It is the headquarters of Malaysia gas and oil company. But this isn’t just some corporate site; here you will be able to witness such world-class performance of artists who are passionate when it comes to classical music. Be there right in the middle of this twin towers and not missed an opportunity to snag a seat at the Dewan Filharmonik PETRONAS Concert Hall.

Another fortress to see in this city is the Menara KL Tower. Having the record of being the world’s fifth tallest structured building. With its viewing deck of about 100 meters higher than that of the PETRONAS, you are sure to get a broader and much wider view of the city. The great news about this is that if you come early, free tickets are actually given away!

When it comes to shopping, this city is bursting with all the bargains that you want especially due to the fact that they have a Chinatown! It’s a colorful place with lots of Oriental culture going on, as you will enjoy not just purchasing some great finds but even get more cultured on the things that Asia has to offer you. Its neighboring places such as KLCC and Bukit Bintang will surprise you with lots of tourists from all around the world just to get the feel of being in an authentic diverse Asian country.
Do you love birds? Because if you do, I’m sure that you will totally love Kuala Lumpur’s Bird Park! It is definitely the most massive bird park in the world and with more than 3,000 birds residing here, there is no way that your Kodak moments won’t be colorful with all those bright rainbow feathers occupying your lenses! Grab this opportunity to take photos with the mighty eagles themselves while they’re not out there targeting their next prey from a hundred feet away! You can totally have them up close and personal this time.

The temples in this city are also huge attractions to both the tourists and locals and your tour here won’t be complete without visiting the Thean Hou Temple. It is one of the oldest temples that you can find in South East Asia and there have been lots of stories, legends and myths related to it. There are actually devotees who believe in this goddess of Mercy named Guan Yin that this temple has become their haven for their devotion.
Speaking of religion, another place of faith in this city that you must dare not miss is the Batu Caves. This is massive for the Hindus and inside these caves are statues that were erected with also limestone formations aging 400 millions old; it has indeed become one of the famous tourists spots in Kuala Lumpur. If you love to sculpt and you are a visual artist, then it’s impossible that you won’t get any inspiration from this town.
Malaysia’s advocacy to promote Asia at its finest is doing a great job. Here you will be exposed to not just one Asian culture but a lot more and it’s all the South East Asian side.
