Miami is a fantastic holiday destination and is among the top places that travellers want to see and experience. Usually, the locals visit the South Beach off season from May until August, since the rates are great and the restaurants are not that crowded. In case you can do like the locals, you can have a great holiday. Most of the South Beach restaurants offer nice outdoor sitting areas and serve delicious meals.

The other great thing that one can do while in Miami is to visit the Miami MetroZoo, which is reputed to be among the nicest zoos in the country. Here the traveller can see a great variety of animals from Africa, Australia and Asia. An interesting fact to mention is that the Miami MetroZoo is among the first zoo without cages. The animals are grouped according to their geographic territory and live peacefully together. The zone around the zoo is very spacious thus the visitors should be prepared for some walking. Visiting this place is among the best outdoor activities that you can enjoy in the Miami area. It is an especially fun place for the children, who can enjoy the playground, the carousel and the petting zoo.

Another wonderful Miami experience would be to visit the local Seaquarium, which is both entertaining and educational. It features an outdoor marine section that presents killer whales, dolphins and other huge sea creatures. At the Seaquarium could be also seen seals and sea turtles, as well as sea lions, etc. The place also presents a show of trained dolphins, a show of a killer whale and feeding of the sea creatures.

The fourth important thing to do when in Miami includes a visit to the Everglades National Park. It features a large territory of swamps, sun-tropical jungle and interesting greenery. This is quite an unusual public park, which is placed at the southern end of Florida and is home to many endangered species like the Florida Panther, the American Crocodile, etc. The visitors of the Everglades National Park can walk, go camping, etc.

The fifth important thing to do when in Miami is to check the best Miami beaches. After all, this is what you have come here for in the first place. Among the beaches that should be seen are Bill Baggs Cape, Virginia Key Beach, Homestead Bayfront Park and Marina, as well as the Haulover Beach.

Another interesting place to consider is the Gothic Church Sacro Cuore del Suffragio, which claims that it has evidence of different paranormal activity. The other site that deserves attention as well is Caius Cestius Pyramid, which has been strongly influenced by Egypt. In the past many people built their tombs in this way, but today Caius Cestius Pyramid is the only tomb of this style that has survived the years. The Romans adored marble and because of that the pyramid is made of brick and covered with marble slabs.

Now, to some brighter aspect of Rome. May be you know that the Romans are crazy about food and they prepare some very delicious specialties, which are simple to prepare but very tasty. Romans are also very proud of their recipes and culinary style. They have a National Museum of Pasta, which reveals the origins of pasta. The museum’s collection goes back to the 12^th century and tells some really nice stories about Italian food. Here at the National Museum of Pasta one can see detailed receipts about preparation of meals and various variations on these same receipts that can make the dish so different. It is not guaranteed that by coming here you will learn how to prepare great pasta, but it can help for sure.
