Shiny and bouncy hair is a sign of good health. No one can be blessed with hair that shines and looks great unless she is doing something right with her health. Even if a woman is naturally blessed with healthy hair, the hair loses it’s sheen with age and ends up looking dull and lifeless unless it is looked after properly. Hair is very important for the overall appearance of women and healthy hair styled in a particular way can make a world of difference to the way a woman looks and thus feels about herself.

Women spend hours to take care of their hair and not to mention the hundreds of dollars they spend on hair care products like shampoos, conditioners and hair oils. If all this money is spent on the right hair care products, then it is definitely worth all the money and the effort because the hair shines with health. Moroccan oil, which is commonly known as Argan oil, is found to be very effective on dull and lifeless hair. The oil is extracted from the Argan plant, which is found only in South Morocco.

Argan oil is known to be rich in Vitamins A and E as well as in fatty acids like Omega 3 and 6. This hair oil also serves as a UV protector for hair as it protects the hair from the harmful UV rays of the sun. The oil is helpful for the body to get rid of free radicals found in the body. Known to be great in fighting wrinkles, fine lines and other signs of ageing, the oil is also used extensively on the skin and overall body. Argan oil suits all hair types and it prevents the hair from drying.

Krill oil is another natural supplement, which has been growing steadily in popularity. This oil is being touted as being nature’s perfect recipe for good health because of the many health benefits it offers. This oil is extracted from a shrimp like substance, which inhabits the cold areas like the North Pacific Ocean. Krill oil is similar to fish oil because it contains 2 Omega 3 fatty acids- DHA or docosahexaenoic acid and EPA or eicosapentaenoic acid. Both these fatty acids have been the subject of numerous studies and research and have found to be effective in improving bone strength, easing pre menstrual symptoms, reducing blood pressure, lowering the risk of heart disease and stroke among other health benefits.

Krill oil when included in the diet along with the application of Argan oil can make one’s hair glow with good health.

Heading to the capital of Italy? Already booked your flight tickets and reserved an apartment in Rome or a Milan apartment. Good job. Now, if you are a first timer here, then most probably you will go to the most famous landmarks that are there to be seen. If you, however, come for a second or third time or if you are among those lucky ones that will spend more than three or five days here and have several weeks to explore Rome, then going off the beaten path is a very tempting option.

Gateway to the Gods

The city of Rome is a very popular tourist destination. Many, many words have been said and written to describe the Coliseum with its gladiators, the gateway of Gods – the Pantheon, the heart of the Roman Empire – the Roman Forum, and so on and so forth. Everybody has heard of the magnificent beauty of the Fontana di Trevi, many visitors have marvelled at the fountains on Piazza Navona. But besides these main tourist attractions in the Italian capital there are many hidden attractions in Rome, which also have their charm and deserve to be seen. Among these hidden treasures is the Capuchin Crypt, which is a haunted house with interesting decoration. The place will absolutely enchant you and will leave a great impression on you. This place however, is not for everybody. Some people love it and some don’t, but no matter what the result is that you cannot be left without an emotion and opinion. If you travel with your children though, may be it will not be a good idea to bring them here, as they might be scared.

Another interesting place to consider is the Gothic Church Sacro Cuore del Suffragio, which claims that it has evidence of different paranormal activity. The other site that deserves attention as well is Caius Cestius Pyramid, which has been strongly influenced by Egypt. In the past many people built their tombs in this way, but today Caius Cestius Pyramid is the only tomb of this style that has survived the years. The Romans adored marble and because of that the pyramid is made of brick and covered with marble slabs.

Capuchin Crypt

Now, to some brighter aspect of Rome. May be you know that the Romans are crazy about food and they prepare some very delicious specialties, which are simple to prepare but very tasty. Romans are also very proud of their recipes and culinary style. They have a National Museum of Pasta, which reveals the origins of pasta. The museum’s collection goes back to the 12th century and tells some really nice stories about Italian food. Here at the National Museum of Pasta one can see detailed receipts about preparation of meals and various variations on these same receipts that can make the dish so different. It is not guaranteed that by coming here you will learn how to prepare great pasta, but it can help for sure.

If you are heading to Portugal after your trip to Italy you should consider accommodation in Lisbon apartments.

The city of Krakow is among the first settlements in Poland and also the second biggest city in the country today. It is located on the Vistula River and is set just at the foot of the Carpathian Mountains. The city was founded during the 7thcentury and has been an important academic and cultural centre. It is also a main centre for art, trade, business and tourism. The city of Krakow has very interesting architecture and plenty of landmarks that are waiting to be seen. Among the sites that provoke real interest is the Auschwitz memorial.

Gate of Auschwitz

The Auschwitz site is of great historical importance to Krakow and Poland and is definitely among the tourist places that need to be visited when you stay in your Krakow apartment. Travellers should remember that when they are visiting during peak hours, they are best off joining a tour group with a guide. This makes the entry process easier to organise. So, if you are an individual but want to see the place, do not worry as the staff will set you up in a tour group with other people. Outside the peak hours or before 10 o’clock in the morning and 3 o’clock in the afternoon, people can enter the memorial on their own.

There are guides available in six languages, namely French and English, German and Spanish, Italian and Polish. However, groups can be also organised in Russian and Japanese, Serbian and Croatian, Hungarian and Swedish. The Auschwitz memorial is open until 7 o’clock in June, July and August and until 6 o’clock in May and September. In October it is open only until 5 o’clock. You can travel there on a day trip from your apartment in Warsaw

Tourists should know that just two or three kilometres outside the Auschwitz site, there is a second concentration camp, which is also open to visitors. That camp is Birkenau. Actually, the ticket that a tourist buys covers the sightseeing in both Birkenau and Auschwitz. Travellers should know that if they come from the city of Krakow with a bus, after they have seen Auschwitz, they can take the same bus and go to Birkenau and then back to the first site – Auschwitz. From then on they can return to Krakow and continue the rest of their stay there.

Fence and Guard Tower

The Auschwitz site and memorial is very important for various reasons. It is a symbol of the Holocaust and genocide, but is also a symbol of human heroism and resistance. Here, during the Second World War many innocent people were murdered. The concentration camp was established in 1940 and was later extended. The mass murder organised there by the Nazi came to an end five years later when the soldiers of the Soviet Army entered the camp. But it was already too late for hundreds of thousands of people. Since this humiliating part of history should never be forgotten, the grounds and structures of the camp were protected and are now a museum and also a site of the UNESCO World Heritage List.
